DESCRIPTION

Description

Submersible Pump: Choose a pump that was built to go below the waterline! Active Aqua's entire collection of pumps complete any grow setup. Unbeatable for hydroponic systems, all of Active Aqua's submersible pumps include multiple hose fittings for an exact fit every time. Each pump's powerful magnetic drive construction includes removable foam filters, impellers, and rubber mounting feet to reduce vibration. Additionally, it has a 6-foot heavy duty power cord. You can adjust the pump's flow to get things moving at your preferred rate.

Specifications: The pump can circulate 160 gallons per hour and is recommended for 15 gallon reservoirs. It consumes only 9.5 Watts/120 VAC. Please note that models providing 40 gallons per hour to 160 gallons per hour contain a steel shaft and are not ideal for saltwater applications. On the other hand, larger pumps (250 gallons per hour to 1000 gallons per hour) have a ceramic shaft and are suitable for saltwater operation.

Features: The models AAPW250-AAPW1000 are inline capable, which means they can be placed directly in the path of the fluid flow. Constructed with a powerful magnetic drive, they are suitable for indoor use and are oil free and environmentally friendly. They also feature a BPA-free design that ensures safety for use in aquaponics. These models are also equipped with a 6' power cord.
